Ink & Identity explores the powerful visual language of Chicano tattoo culture, tracing its roots from prison yards, to neighborhood streets, shaped by experiences of racial discrimination. Through symbols of faith, struggle, and resilience, the exhibition reveals how tattoos tell stories of identity, survival, and cultural pride—transforming the body into a living canvas of history. With a four-month timeline, I developed a museum exhibition campaign centered on Chicano tattoo culture.
As part of my process, I conducted extensive research to better understand the symbolism, history, and cultural significance of the subculture. The final outcome included a range of deliverables such as a brochure, poster, animation, merchandise, and a 3D model of the exhibition space, all working together to create a cohesive and immersive visual experience.
